Modi--The new comeback kid
Narendra Modi has been voted back to power with a thumping majority.With almost a 2/3rd majority he is all set for another five year tenure.
He is perhaps the only politician who can boycott the media and still go on to win an election.
The media whose opinion polls predicted a close contest were proved wrong.Even after the victory they were not gracious enough to accept it.What do people like Barkha Dutt,Pronoy Roy and Rajdeep Sardesai Know?They sit in air conditioned studios unaware of ground realities.Anti incumbency is a demon rarely conquered in politics.Modi went to the people and got reelected.That is what is called accountability.The media should respect his courage and accountability rather than credit his victory to Hindutva and raise questions on his national stature.
